Due to the Christmas holiday, today's episodes of all your favorite soaps were pre-empted for various holiday programming. This pre-emption was anticipated and there will be no "lost" episodes as a result. Programming will resume on Tuesday, December 26th.

Norma and Edna assure a trembling Tabitha they haven't come to hurt her. Sheridan can't stop thinking about Luis and Marty even as she celebrates Christmas with Chris and James. At the hospital, Luis tries to cheer Fancy up with a Christmas tree and brightly wrapped gifts. As Chad and Whitney begin exchanging wedding vows in front of their assembled families and friends, Fox reminds Kay that soon it will be their turn to stand at the altar and pledge everlasting love. Edna and Norma explain how they've returned to Harmony to spend Christmas with Tabitha and Endora. Outraged by J.T.'s betrayal, Rebecca attacks "her" with fists flying. Tabitha and her guests recall happier days with the late, lamented Timmy. Though badly traumatized by the rape, Fancy struggles to hide her emotions from Luis. Sam takes note of Noah's growing interest in Paloma. J.T. gleefully looks forward to seeing hell break loose once his tell-all issue of the tabloid hits the newsstands.
Tabitha and Endora share a pleasant Christmas with Edna and Norma. While Tabitha puts Endora down for a nap, Edna and Norma plot and scheme to do Tabitha in. When she returns, they go after her with a knife and an ax. Before they can hurt her, Endora wakes up and give Tabitha enough power to send them to the boys in the basement.
At the Harmony hospital, Luis comforts Fancy after her ordeal. He tells her that what happened is not her fault. He tries to get her to tell him the details, but Fancy does not want to talk about her experience.
Meanwhile, Fancy's parents, Julian and Ivy, wake up in Julian's bed together and are appalled that they got drunk and spent the night together. The hear noises downstairs and, clad only in sheets, they go downstairs and discover the weeding reception that Theresa is hosting for Chad and Whitney. Once again, Jared tries to ask Theresa to marry him, but he is interrupted by the cake cutting ceremony. Whitney and Chad try to cut the cake, but have difficulty. The cake collapses and JT lies dead on the floor.
Many of Harmony residents are in attendance at Chad and Whitney's wedding but the reception proves to be anything but blissful. As the onlookers are watching Chad and Whitney cut the cake they are all stunned when a dead body tumbles out of it. Sam immediately starts an investigation to ID the murdered victim and orders no one to leave the reception. During the time it takes Sam to begin his search, each resident mingles in conversation.
Miguel talks with Noah about Kay's attitude towards him. Noah jokingly tells Miguel to break into Eve's office to look through Fox's medical records. Later, Miguel takes Eve's keys from her purse. Kay and Simone continue their conversation about Kay's confusion when it comes to Fox and Miguel. Kay just doesn't know what she's going to do. Rebecca and Gwen are still wondering where the media stick is that JT has. They know they have to get it before it falls into the wrong hands. Ethan contacts his private investigator to see if he's found the goods on Jared. Theresa tries to console Whitney about the interruption to her reception.
At the mansion, Luis receives a call to rush to the crime scene. Sheridan offers to stay with Fancy. Once Luis leaves, Fancy lashes into her Aunt for the harsh words Sheridan spoke to her when she was laying in her hospital bed. Fancy tells Sheridan that Sheridan doesn't have a future with Luis anymore.
Back at the reception, Eve is able to identify the body as JT Cornell. Sam gathers everyone together and shares the news. Rebecca pulls a crying spell and throws herself onto JT's body in hopes of finding the media stick. Ethan comes forward and makes an announcement that he knows Jared killed JT to keep a secret. Sam says without proof nothing can be done. Many of those in attendance are relieved that their blackmail by JT is no longer a threat. Sam allows everyone to leave but informs them to stay in town for questioning. Miguel arrives at Eve's office and finds Fox's records. While he's involved in his reading, a gloved hand partly opens the door. Chad tells Jared to seize the moment and finally propose to Theresa. Chad then goes upstairs after getting champagne for him and Whitney to start their honeymoon. He makes a phone call and Whitney overhears part of his conversation. She bursts into the room and slaps him in the face.
Meanwhile, Theresa meets with Jared at his request. Jared finally pops the question.
Miguel is snooping through Eve's files to get the goods on Fox, but Eve walks in just in the nick of time. Now he is back to square one. Miguel tries to trick Eve into telling him about Fox and his illness, but Eve did not confirm or deny Miguel's suspicions. However, Miguel still suspects Fox of lying because of Eve's initial response. He rummages through Fox's file despite Eve's threat to have him arrested. Miguel is now convinced that Fox is not dying and is bringing the files to Kay to prove to her that Fox is lying. Fox tells Kay that nothing is going to get in the way of their wedding, but Kay is distracted. Fox is shocked because Kay tells him that she knows all his secrets. It turns out that all she knows is that he is dying. She overheard Fox on the phone with his doctor, but Fox was faking at the time. Fox puts on a pitiful act about not telling her because he did not want her to leave him, and Kay buys it hook line and sinker. Fox pulls an even bigger stunt by calling off the wedding to Kay knowing full well that Kay will not stand for it. He tells Kay that he does not want her to stay with him out of pity, but Kay is sticking by his man, even though he is lying through his teeth.
Fancy cannot understands Sheridan's behavior since she was so vicious while Fancy was unconscious. Sheridan pretends as if she doesn't know what Fancy is talking about, but Fancy has gotten her number. She knows that Sheridan does not want her anywhere near Luis. Fancy warns Sheridan to stay away from her and Luis or else she will tell Luis what she has been up to in regards to them. Sheridan tries to explain her way out of the situation by telling Fancy that the Cranes have always hurt the Lopez-Fitzgerald, and Fancy tells Sheridan that she is not like the rest of them. In addition, Sheridan is making Fancy feels guilty into thinking that Luis will have trouble dealing with the fact that someone violated Fancy each time he touches her. Fancy pretends to buys into Sheridan's explanations and apologizes. Sheridan walks out of the room thinking that she has convinced Fancy to stay away from Luis, but Fancy is on to Sheridan and her bag full of tricks.
Whitney walks in on Chad making plans to be with his lover. She slaps him and tells him that she was right all along. Whitney is devastated because Chad chooses to do such a thing on their wedding day. Whitney wants to know if the other person is the real love of Chad's life, but all Chad wants to do is explain his way out of this mess. Whitney is disgusted and runs out of the room. Meanwhile, Jared is in another room at the Crane mansion proposing to Theresa, but before Theresa could accept, Whitney runs in the room crying that Chad is having an affair with another woman. Whitney thinks marrying Chad is the biggest mistake she has ever made in her life. Whitney changes the focus of the conversation on Theresa because she notices the engagement ring. Theresa did not accept Jared's proposal because she is not sure if she wants to marry him. She is actually relieved that Whitney interrupted her. Theresa is hesitant to accept because Ethan cast some doubt on Jared. She is leaning towards believing Ethan, even though there is no proof. Whitney wonders if JT had some dirt on Jared and Chad and considers them suspects. In the Crane kitchen, Chad is drowning his sorrows in alcohol while Jared gets on his case about the mess that he has caused. Chad tells Jared that all there is between he and is lover is sex, but Jared thinks that's a lousy excuse to cheat on Whitney, the woman he loves.
Despite Sam's insistence that everyone goes home, Ethan decides to stick around to pick up any information on JT's killing so that he can stick it to Jared. Sam thinks Ethan wants Theresa for himself, which is why he is digging up dirt on Jared to get him out of the way. Ethan tells Sam that he wants to stay true to his wedding vows, and Sam tells him to leave Theresa alone to make her own mistakes. Grace tells Sam that her flight is delayed while a suspicious stranger looks on. She has a secret to tell Sam, but the stranger wants to make sure that Grace does not get home to tell anyone her secret. He has an explosive device that he plans to use.
