I tell you Kate Collins is a sight for sore eyes! She originally came onto the scene as a schemer trying to get Jeremy (her stepson) into bed while being married to his father, Alex. I immediately disliked her as Jeremy and Erica were made for each other. Then she grew on me and soon she was one of my favorite characters. When she played the dual of role of Natalie and Janet she was pure magic. Too bad AMC isn't signing her for a long term contract and keeping her around. Oh, I forgot she's got the dreaded over 40 disease.
Someone pushes Babe down the stairs, which confirms the fire, was meant to kill Babe not Kendall and Greenlee. So who wants Babe dead --- that would be Amanda but doesn't it seem too easy to figure out? Many would think Janet is to blame but Janet wasn't in PV when the fire started. It was told that Anita called Janet to tell her about the car accident so where does this leave us? In a quandary. Could someone else be behind all this? There are lots of folks that dislike Babe... many in the audience even!!!
We see Greenlee being mean and spiteful again as she lied to Kendall about Zach's visit. What gives? Greenlee just has to have everything be about her and when the secret comes out about the baby that will be the straw that broke the camel's back. Kendall will see Greenlee was NEVER a friend only Kendall's friend as long as Kendall was doing exactly what Greenlee wanted her to do and providing a service. I've never bought into the friends factor between Kendall and Greenlee. Too much history transacted that wouldn't have allowed for such a friendship, especially in the soap world. That would be like Erica and Brooke suddenly becoming "best" friends after all these years.
Speaking of Brooke, in Julia Barr's newsletter, she states she's staying with AMC. Hurray. I attribute some of the decision to the folks that wrote to AMC and TPTB. I wrote to them and thanks to everyone else that participated. Now if we can just get Brooke into a great storyline. It was a real pleasure seeing Myrtle this week. More of the vets please!
Babe and JR are HOT. However, it's hard to imagine they'll fall in love and live happily ever after. There are some strong rumors out there about Little A being Jamie's child in reality. Now, let's not even go there. No more DNA switches especially considering the last DNA test was supposedly done with NO chance of error. Can't AMC come up with something original?
Speaking of HOT --- Kendall and Zach were heating up the screen this week. Unfortunately, Zach wasn't man enough to repeat those magic words "I LOVE YOU" to Kendall. Neither had the guts to speak up and voice their true feelings. It made me sad.
Jonathan can't be prosecuted for murder times 3 because of his brain tumor. This is ludicrous and only happens in PV. Now Jackson is out to protect the world but I wondered why didn't Jackson go to the hospital to see Greenlee once he found out about the fire? Again, only in PV. Erica certainly is quick to defend Ryan's every action. What's up with that? Now we see someone shooting at Jonathan and Jackson will be a prime suspect. I heard from so many about Jackson that here are some AMC Spotlights of the week: From Misha "TPTB need to refocus these Erica and Jackson's attention. It's okay that J/E be involved in their children's lives but not to the exclusion of them as a couple. With J/E, they've captured lightening in a bottle; it's time they utilize them to therefull advantage." From Jesse "People are upset with Jackson and they want him gone? WOW. I think he is as sexy as heck and I love him with Erica. I'd take Jack over Ryan, Zach, or David any day of the week." From Amanda "I hate that Jackson and Erica are being used to either prop up Ryan or make Ryan look like the good guy and Jack the bad guy. McTavish is so obsessed with the Laverys that she is sacrificing two beloved vets and a wonderful couple to boot just to make Ryan and Jonathan redeemable. It's beyond disgusting to me." From Mary G "Jackson should without a doubt still be a central figure on the show. Jack and Erica are such a great, romantic couple. The writing since the wedding has been a huge disappointment. Jack and Erica need to have some serious alone time so that we can be reminded of the romance and passion that has always been such an integral part of their relationship. I hope they get a story of their own soon."
Ryan is there to assure Greenlee of his undying love and that Jonathan would never hurt anyone again. If only the Laverys would just leave the show. I used to be a Ryan fan, but he's been ruined for me. So much so that it doesn't appear he can be redeemed - but who knows as it is the season for miracles. The scenes with Ryan and Greenlee at the boathouse were just plain boring in my opinion. I thought GAG me.
Did anyone notice there's a red light in Jackson's place? Why would this be when Lily has to avoid the color red? Seems the writers messed up with that whole "red" idea as Erica also wears red often and looks great in red.
I started a new job this week and one of the ladies I work with is almost a dead ringer for Terri Ivens (Simone). Yes, it's incredible as she's just as attractive but isn't a ditz. Remember when Simone first came to PV and was portrayed as someone with brains well this is how the lady I work with is! I guess it's true everyone has a twin out there somewhere. I want to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving this coming week. Be safe with your travels, enjoy family, friends and eat lots of yummy food. That would be turkey and all the fixings at my house! I can see Thanksgiving in PV is not going to be happy. Can't you just see JR's plan coming into light after he invited Di to the holiday festivities. See you next time.
