Benton Greene made his daytime television debut on As the World Turns. Greene starred in a hip-hop adaptation of a Greek tragedy, The Seven, that won an Obie Award and two Lucille Lortell Awards at the New York Theater Workshop. He went on to star in the Neil LaBute play This Is How It Goes at The Studio Theater in Washington, D.C. Greene also plays a character in the video game, Grand Theft Auto IV.
Greene earned his B.A. from the San Diego State University. In his free time, Greene enjoys traveling, reading, playing with his son and martial arts. Teaching is his passion as he has taught theater, acting, digital filmmaking, martial arts and health/fitness. He currently works with the Lincoln Center Theater conducting theater workshops with high school students in The Bronx and Manhattan.
Greene was born in Brooklyn and currently resides in Harlem. He is a proud father to son, Kai Greene (b. 3/25/05).
Greene celebrates his birthday on December 14.
