Benard equaled his three wins from last year - ironically, winning in each of the same categories this year. Benard started off with a second straight victory in the Outstanding Lead Actor. It should be noted, however, that his margin of win was not nearly as large as last year's in which he amassed a whopping 81% of the vote.

And like last year, Benard was also voted Most Attractive Actor. Benard also received the honor of Outstanding Overall Performer. Each of the Lead and Supporting Actor and Actress nominees are placed into the Overall Performer field. Voters are then asked to select one of the 16 nominees that they feel turned in the best overall performance.

There were two other multiple winners in this year's Dankies. Marisa Ramirez (Gia Campbell) picked up two wins. The first came in the Outstanding Supporting Actress field. The win marked Ramirez's first Dankie win; she picked up four nominations last year, but failed to win any. Ramirez was also voted Most Attractive Actress.

The year's other two-time winner was Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis). Grahn captured the Outstanding Lead Actress award as well as a second consecutive win for her alter ego - Alexis Davis was chosen as the Favorite Character.

The final ballot featured several oddities this year. Sarah Brown (ex-Carly Corinthos) and her successor Tamara Braun (Carly Corinthos) were both nominated in the Lead Actress field. It marked the first time in any Dankies balloting that two actresses were nominated in a single category for the same role.

The second unusual aspect of this year's voting came under the Most Missed Performer category. For a second straight year Steve Burton (ex-Jason Morgan) received a nomination in this category. Never has a performer received two consecutive nominations in the category since once an actor leaves, they're usually gone for good. Last year Burton qualified for the ballot because he did, in fact, leave GH. However, Burton returned during this year's eligibility period - and then left the show again. So he was technically able to again qualify for Most Missed Peformer. Though Burton won last time around, this year he was bested by Sarah Brown (ex-Carly Corinthos).

Coltin Scott (Nikolas Cassadine) picked up a win in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category. This was his first Dankies win.

As widely expected, GH's "Endgame" saga, which pitted the Spencers against the Cassadines, earned a bevy of honors - but none of them good. The Engame storyline was chosen as the Least Favorite Storyline of the year and Stavros Cassadine was selected as the Least Favorite Character.

This year's voting saw a record turnout -- nearly three times as many people voted this year compared to last year.
