Desiree Dubois (a.k.a Erica Kane) as a showgirl in Las Vegas within a few days. Totally unbelievable. Rave reviews after one performance, incredible. Erica is living her dreams and facing her demons, the question is: WHEN WILL IT END? As much as long-time fans like new twists and adventures, they are definitely not happy with this direction. Judging from the comments and mail coming our way, they are very Unhappy with the blonde Erica in hiding. It doesn't seem true to character to have Erica run off during Bianca's darkest hours. Bianca Montgomery was the one person she loved unconditionally and would go to any extremes to protect her from harm. She was ready to go to prison for Michael Cambias' murder, to protect both daughters. Now that her family members back in Pine Valley know where she is, it is even more disturbing. She is safe but has chosen not to contact them. In the meantime, she has finally figured out who Bobby Warner is. DUH.

There is no excuse for Babe not immediately telling Bianca that the baby is Miranda. The question of whether or not Babe loves the baby and will care for the child is totally irrelevant. That could be said of many people that want children, well then, just pick a baby out of a hospital and pretend it's your own. It's just plain wrong, legally and morally. One note, Paul Kramer is unfortunately alive and well in Llanview. Krystal continues to pressure Babe into keeping the baby as her own. No longer can Krystal's excuse be because she wants to save Babe the anguish of losing a child. Krystal has always had her own agenda and it has nothing to do with loving her daughter. Talk has it that Tad and Krystal will be paired together long term. It would be completely out of character for Tad to forgive, forget and love the woman that caused his family so much pain by switching the DNA test. Krystal continues to stand by Babe's side and act sad. Excuse me --- how hard is it to say to Bianca 'This baby isn't Bess.'

Who is this Zachary Slater? He seems to be very familiar and interested in Erica Kane, Maria Santos-Grey, and Ryan Lavery. Is this Ryan's brother who was to appear in Pine Valley? Then it would have to be a connection to Chris as these three are the only ones you see grieve and visit his grave.

Too many new characters/actors at one time can really take a show down. With good writing this can be less of a problem, but unfortunately for AMC this isn't the case. We have Lily, Danielle, Jonathon (Ryan's brother), Zach and his assistant, Anita, Bobby, Isabella, another staged to enter is Aidan's brother and briefly Ron Fitzgerald. Why aren't the veterans being used?

Kendall finally got it --- there is no future for her with Ryan as long as he's married to Greenlee. So Kendall's leaving Pine Valley.

What a sight for sore eyes Mark Dalton is. I enjoyed him when he was introduced so long ago and throughout his time in PV. I always was a Mark and Ellen fan but since she's on Passions now (hopefully not as a witch), I would consider it a bonus if Mark stayed on long-term in PV instead of just two days. It would help Erica to have her brother in town. It could also give PV another strong male character. Currently Mark's only in town to assist and rally around Erica during her addiction and revelation about their father's actions involving Richard Fields and Erica's rape. Eric Kane was always a selfish, self-centered man but now he is being portrayed as a complete user, an unloving and uncaring father. Let's find a way to keep Mark Dalton around.

Erica Kane finally admitted she has a drinking problem and is ready to seek help. As her family and best friend gathered around her at the penthouse, she continued to be in denial. She was sarcastic, rebellious, and dying for a sip of her beloved wine. Slowly, she begins to unravel as she flashes back to her 14th birthday. It appears not only did her father's friend, Richard Fields, rape her but also it was a 'deal maker.'

It's interesting that some people want to see Greenlee as such a wonderful person now that she's been paired with Ryan. This appears to be at Kendall's expense. Greenlee has always been a self-serving rather mean spirited character - hence the acronym Meanlee being used. Ryan sees Kendall as the instigator between the two but Greenlee has always held her own and then some in any verbal bout. As the old saying goes "it takes two to argue and keep a feud going." Thus both Kendall and Greenlee share responsibility. Kendall has decided to get Ryan back ---- again --- at any costs. Kendall should just move on and find someone new. I'm glad Bobby was above being paid to go out with Greenlee. This reminded me of Leo when he was being paid to seduce Becca by Greenlee so Greenlee could get Scott. This was after Greenlee set Becca up to see a sex video of Greenlee and Scott.

Adam Chandler, Jr is in revenge mode and spinning out of control. As we know, he set-up his own stepbrother, Jamie, to take the fall for drugging Babe. Babe Chandler is in complete denial and will not believe her husband is capable of doing such a deed. She loves him, he loves her, so she thinks. JR has truly morphed into Adam and Jamie pegged it by warning Babe when his brother flips the switch off, he is done.

Brooke's never-ending tape wasn't the proof that Tad, Brooke and James were expecting. Somehow Adam and JR found the recorder and "staged" the ultimate performance. Adam became quite indignant as Babe was convinced yet again that JR loves her and James is stalking her. I'm thinking James and Babe both need their heads examined!! It was wonderful seeing Brooke front and center if only for a short time.

The residents of Pine Valley say they would prefer the truth. They want others to tell the truth yet it seems they either don't like what they hear OR they aren't able to be truly honest themselves. There were many scenarios this past week on AMC. First, the very touching scenes between Ryan and Greenlee.

The entire jail fiasco was absurd. There is no way the police would have allowed a camera, recorder, and James in a cell to set up anyone, plus those sleeveless shirts that James and Seth had on were definitely not typical jail issue. Just another vehicle to show off those muscles on James. Instead of trying to show beefcake, better writing and plots are what's needed

I really loved Edmund and Maria being together again. They reminded me of old times which are so missed. Granted Maria and Zach are a good looking couple but so are Maria and Edmund. Wouldn't it be nice if true love won out and Edmund and Maria ended up together for a very long time?

JR and Adam have been caught by David. There Adam is stuck in some box somewhere and JR is tied up at Oak Haven. Literally tied up in a straitjacket! This plot is so beyond entertaining and out there.

It appears there are a lot of swimming the wrong direction, backstroking, and barely staying afloat going on in Pine Valley of late. As much as we wanted this baby-switching storyline resolved, are we ready for the next chapter?

Supposedly Ethan is a "love child" from a tryst Zach had with the maid. Sounds a little too familiar. Remember Edmund's heritage - an affair involving Hugo Marick and Flora Gresham and Anton - a fling between Dimitri and Corvina. Too many reused plots.

Yes, Adam has escaped the crate and relates his misadventures about Mongolia. It's great to have Adam back. He was definitely a sight for these sore eyes as I've always considered him to be quite handsome.

The DNA proves that Babe is indeed Ace's mother which of course we already knew. I kept thinking that Babe was going to tell James the truth about Ace and Bess but this keeps getting put off. James has already figured it out even though he's not been told officially by anyone. Now we have the DNA tests showing JR is Ace's father after all.

Poor Lily Montgomery is being mainstreamed in Pine Valley High only to experience a rude awakening about peer pressure. She feels she has been accepted, is cool, and very "hot" as she appeases the three stooges: Autumn, Chantal, and China. She agrees to do their homework, dress provocatively 'to die fo,' and becomes anxious to have a boyfriend (McDaddy) like her new so-called friends!

Being a long-time Brooke fan, it was great seeing her in action even if it has to be about her protecting James. I relished her history with Adam and have always seen wonderful chemistry between them. It would be fabulous to see those two paired up again.

Babe writes all her letters to everyone involved confessing her sin of unlawfully keeping Bess. Wonder who delivered all those letters and why were they just left on the proverbial doorstep for anyone to see and snatch? Now everyone will know about Bess being Miranda, everyone that is except Bianca as her letter has been pushed aside by Kendall and then recovered by JR. I wonder how many people would actually keep quiet about such a thing especially in PV.

Jamie and Babe are on their "excellent adventure" running on the lam. Under the assumed names of Brad and Kate with Baby James, they are dodging Highway patrolmen, and sleep so hard in their motel room they are robbed blind. Ten thousand dollars mysteriously disappears out of their duffel bag as the three of them sleep together in their double-sized bed. Sounds like an adventure we would rather skip.

The 'Anderson' trio is still on their excellent adventure following the sun's paradise. Babe always hated the cold and snow associated with winter and preferred thinking of warm, tropical paradises. Now she is trying to follow a path where she can be a family with the two James in her life.

That's exactly what Greenlee tried to do with that ridiculous trapeze gear. How exactly did Greenlee have time to leave the party, get the outfit, etc. and hook everything up? The writers are either morons are believe the fans are. I'm hoping for the first choice.
