She has taken to Twitter to confirm that she is in the midst of working on a memoir about her career and life struggles that will be published in the summer of 2020.
"Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag now!" Scott tweeted about her exciting project. "Can't wait for all of you to read it! Now you all know what I've been up to!"
According to Uwe Stender from TriadaUS Literary Agency (who first announced the news), the beloved daytime star's memoir will cover her entire career, which spans from her work as a child actress in Hitchcock's Marnie to her 40-year role as stripper-turned-millionaire Nikki Reed Newman.

As fans of Y&R know, Scott's long-term on-screen love, Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), released a memoir titled I'll Be Damned in 2017. If Scott's story is anything like his, soap opera fans will no doubt have their noses glued to the pages of her tale; his entertaining book covered everything from his Nazi father to his job of cutting up dead bodies for arthritis research.
Scott's memoir is being written with Dana L. Davis, for Mark Weinstein at Division Books, for publication in summer of 2020 by Stender.
