And then there were two. Noemi Gonzalez (Mia Rosales) has announced that she is exiting The Young and the Restless, meaning that there will be just two members of the Rosales family left in Genoa City.
"I have been honored and blessed with the opportunity to embody such a dynamic character on such a special show," Gonzalez shared. "This is the hardest working cast/crew/staff in show business. [...] But most importantly thank you to our loyal fans. Everything I gave was for you and the love of your stories. I'm going to miss Mia Rosales and Genoa City."
Gonzalez gave a special shout-out to two of her costars -- Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) and Jason Canela (Arturo Rosales) -- in her farewell post. It was announced last month that Canela would be exiting Y&R.

The Rosales family was introduced under Mal Young, who served as Y&R's head writer and executive producer from July 2017 to 2018. In introducing the family, Young said he was following in the footsteps of Y&R's legendary co-creator Bill Bell.
"In the early days, [Y&R's creator, the late William J. Bell] started with the haves and the have nots," Young explained at the time. "I wanted to introduce a different class of people. The [Rosaleses] are blue-collar, but they're also aspirational. That's important for viewers to see. It feels like more of a realistic representation of life."
Gonzalez joined the cast of Y&R as Rey's estranged wife, Mia, in November 2018. Since that time, Mia and Rey got back together and... well, Mia slept with Rey's brother, Arturo. Again.
There is currently nothing to indicate that Vilasuso or Sasha Calle (Lola Rosales) will be leaving Y&R.
Fans will still have a little while longer to see Gonzalez' Mia on-screen. "I will be on the air for another month, but I'm off to shake things up elsewhere. Stay tuned for what's next."
As for what's next, Gonzalez already has another project on the way. She is one of the stars in the upcoming Netflix series Dark/Web, which the actress says she filmed sometime last year.
