General Hospital newcomer Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford) has another reason to celebrate this holiday season -- she's engaged!
In an Instagram post, Henry revealed that Kris Bowers, her boyfriend of two years, asked her to marry him.
"I get to love you for a lifetime now," Henry wrote along with a video of the big moment. "Wow. I love you @krisbowersmusic . Here's to all that's to come. You are a dream."
Bowers, whose Instagram page describes him as a "h e r o / m i s f i t," shared an equally heartfelt post on his page. "Last night, this beautiful human agreed to spend forever with me. I'm the luckiest man alive."
Bowers is a composer and pianist who has composed scores for film and television. He has worked with José James, Marcus Miller, and Kanye West. He won the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition in 2011 and a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition in 2017 for The Snowy Day. He recently coached Oscar winner Mahershala Ali in piano for the film Green Book.
