Congratulations are in order for real-life soap couple Adrienne Frantz (ex-Amber Moore, The Bold and the Beautiful/The Young and the Restless) and Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy Foster, Guiding Light), who are thrilled to announce that they welcomed a baby boy on June 19. However, the news of the couple's wonderful family addition came with a scary update: Frantz is still in the hospital due to post-delivery complications and hasn't been able to join her baby at home.
The actress shared on Instagram, "Ok. I had my wonderful baby on June 19th! He is fine and home now. I unfortunately am still in the hospital. I had multiple complications. If I could get some prayers today I could really use them! I just want to go home and see my baby!!"
Frantz doesn't explain what her complications have been, but no matter what, the whole situation sounds quite stressful. Fans have been quick to send the actress the prayers that she has asked for -- though there is always room for more!
Unfortunately, this isn't the only bump in the road that Frantz has experienced on her journey to motherhood. Prior to becoming pregnant with her daughter, Amélie Irene Bailey, whom she and Bailey welcomed in 2015, Frantz had two miscarriages. Fortunately, it sounds as if her new baby boy is healthy, which is a blessing.
On June 18, just one day before her baby boy's birth, Frantz took to social media with the tease that to celebrate her last day of being pregnant, she and her family had a Slurpee pizza party.
Frantz joined the cast of B&B in 1997 and played Amber until 2005. She then took the character to The Young and the Restless from 2006 until 2010 (with a guest appearance in 2013), returning to B&B's Los Angeles from 2010 to 2012.
Bailey played GL's Sandy from 2004 to 2006 before going on to star in shows like Saints & Sinners, Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight, Here We Go Again, and The Bay. The couple appeared together in the 2019 horror film The Thing That Keeps You, as well as the 2015 Lifetime film The Perfect Girlfriend.
