Crises have a way of bringing people together, and the current COVID-19 pandemic has led to the pairing of two celebs: The Young and the Restless alum Max Ehrich (ex-Fenmore Baldwin) and singer Demi Lovato, who -- according to sources like Us Weekly and Cosmopolitan -- recently started dating and have decided to quarantine together "to really get to know each other."
Word on the street is that the pair met just "a few weeks ago," but they've accelerated their relationship and were even seen buying groceries together in Los Angeles before lockdown measures were put in place. Since that time, they've been exchanging flirty comments on Instagram.
For instance, Ehrich shared a black-and-white photo of himself showing off his abs, joking, "When u realize u should've packed more for your quarantine stay. Have a blessed Monday filled with health, happiness, safety, joy, love, & laughter." Lovato cheekily responded, "Fine by me..."
Ehrich has also been sharing Instagram videos of himself singing, one of which was dedicated to "my <3." It didn't take Lovato long to confirm who he was referencing, as she responded with a teary emoji and a love heart.
Ehrich also posted a photo of himself snuggling with Lovato's dogs, so... people are connecting the dots and assuming that the pair are quarantining together. Reps for both Ehrich and Lovato have yet to comment on the relationship, but it sure does sound an awful lot like the performers are snuggling down together until the pandemic ends!
Max Ehrich starred as Y&R's Fenmore from 2012 to 2015. His additional credits include Under the Dome, The Path, Sweet/Vicious, and 100 Things to Do Before High School. The New Jersey native is also a singer, with one of his last official singles being "Ride," which he released for his film, Walk. Ride. Rodeo.
Demi Lovato is a singer who has released six albums that contain hits like "Sorry Not Sorry" and "Confident." She was also a judge on The X Factor.
UPDATE (MARCH 29, 2020): Oops! It looks like the secret is officially out. During one of Ehrich's Instagram Live sessions, Lovato unwittingly walked into the frame. You can see Ehrich mouth, "I'm live" and Lovato quickly thows a blanket over her face and exits stage right.
