Alyvia Alyn Lind is closing out 2019 on a wave of good news. In addition to reprising her role as The Young and the Restless' Faith Newman for episodes scheduled to air during the holidays, she has joined a new film that has her acting alongside Famous in Love star Bella Thorne.
Titled Masquerade, the home-invasion thriller stars Lind as an eleven-year-old named Casey who must do everything she can to survive after burglars (Thorne and Skyler Samuels) break into her home on a quest to steal priceless artwork. Deadline reports that the film -- which boasts Lind's father John as an executive producer -- will also feature Austin Nichols and Mircea Monroe as Casey's parents. Not much else is known about the plot, outside of the tease that the thieves will stop at nothing to get what they want -- which culminates in a shocking twist ending.
Lind joined the cast of Y&R as Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon's (Sharon Case) youngest daughter in 2011. She can currently be seen in a comedy about teens navigating a post-apocalyptic world in the Netflix series Daybreak and recently starred in Hulu's Future Man. Some of her other credits include Masters of Sex, Transparent, Revenge, and See Dad Run.
