Fans of The Young and the Restless were happy to see the return of Kevin and Chloe's daughter Bella this week, but the tiny tot has a whole new face. The CBS soap opera has cast child actress Martie Blair in the role.
When Bella made her original debut in Genoa City back in 2016, she was played by Cali May Kinder. The character was later recast with another child actress, Gia Poeme, who played the role on a recurring basis up to the point when Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) faked her death and went on the run with her child and Kevin (Greg Rikaart). Now, Blair wears the shoes of the drama-surrounded tot, and from what Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) recently revealed in an interview about his alter ego's split personalities, it seems the actress has already tackled some very tough material.
"Finally I can post about my new role as Bella on CBS's The Young and The Restless!! I am sooo excited!!" Blair shared on Instagram about joining the daytime series. "Everyone there is absolutely amazing!"
Though IMDb lists Y&R as Blair's first television job, she has had previous acting experience in a variety of short films. Some of her credits include Safe, The Last Dragon, Bake Sale, Turf War, and The Sugar & Bones Club. She made her Y&R debut on Monday, August 26.
