Fans of The Young and the Restless know that whenever Chelsea is around, drama follows. They also know the same can be said whenever Phyllis is around. So, what do you get when you mix the two prima donnas together? According to their portrayers, Melissa Claire Egan and Michelle Stafford, absolute down and dirty chaos!
The pair recently appeared on Good Day Sacramento to promote what lies ahead for their temperamental alter egos, and they say there's some seriously juicy material headed viewers' way.
"Chelsea kind of stabs Phyllis in the back, which you know, you don't want to do because her wrath is like, intense," Egan teases, to which Stafford replies: "Right. And then Phyllis comes back and takes her down!"
Both laugh over the fact that Chelsea and Phyllis will continue to one-up each other, which will culminate in an intense face-off at a major event in the weeks ahead.
"There's this huge party that we throw for the opening of the Grand Phoenix, this hotel that's this big venture, and some crazy stuff happens there," Egan previews. "You have to watch. We can't really say. It's never really been done in daytime, I don't think, but what happens at the party is like, bananas. It's actually funny, too!"
