The Young and the Restless' Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) has made a big move that could impact her role on the CBS soap opera.

The Young and the Restless' Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) shared some exciting news on social media that has fans feeling both happy... and a little bit worried.

The fan favorite actress -- who's also known for her previous role as Days of our Lives Donna Temple Craig -- took to Instagram to share that she will now be splitting her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, Tennessee.

"I've been thinking.... pretty much all I've done for 7 days of yes, being busy and seeing friends but basically being by myself with Buddha by my side," she wrote along with a stunning black and white photo of herself. "This solitude has been very healing. I realize my heart is my greatest weakness and my greatest Superpower. I feel so much gratitude for all the people who are in my life and make it so full. I am looking forward to splitting my time between L. A. And Nashville and have met so many amazing people here already. Je suis pret!"

News of Bregman's move across the country has some fans ill at ease. After all, it's coming hot on the heels of the devastating news that 40-year soap vet Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) has been cut from the canvas, as well as the recent exit of fan-favorite Mishael Morgan (Hilary Curtis) and upcoming exit of Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott). It's been a lot of loss for long-time viewers, who are worried about further changes to the show.

The CBS soap opera has a long-standing policy of not commenting on actors' statuses with the series, so only time will tell whether or not viewers will see less of Lauren. However, because Bregman is currently on recurring status at Y&R, her decision to move to Nashville likely won't have a big impact on her future storylines on the show. Here's hoping the character will continue to be woven into Genoa City happenings, just as she has since her debut in 1983.

What do you think about Bregman's decision to split her time between Los Angeles and Nashville? How would you feel if it impacted her time on Y&R?
