Santa Claus is getting ready to make some joyful deliveries, but it looks like a stork has already scheduled a delivery to The Young and the Restless alum Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braña). She and her husband, José "Pepe" Bastón, are expecting a baby boy!
A rep for the former Desperate Housewives star confirms to People that she is four months along in her pregnancy, meaning she's due in the late spring/early summer of 2018.
Longoria and Bastón met through a mutual friend in 2013, though the actress admits there weren't immediate sparks.
"I was getting out of a bad relationship, and he was getting out of a relationship, so there wasn't a connection," she shares. "We had a pleasant conversation but there was no real connection."
However, the story changed six months later when the same mutual friend reintroduced her to Bastón.
"I had no memory of meeting him the first time, but we had immediate sparks," Longoria recalls. "He was so charismatic, charming, sweet and funny. I thought, ‘Who is this guy?!'"
The couple went on to start dating and got engaged in Dubai in 2015.
"I want to yell from the highest mountaintop about everything that goes on with us because I'm so happy and excited to be with a person as kind as Pepe is," she gushes. "He is probably one of the first men I've dated that has been older and established and, basically, a grown-up... It is so nice to be arm-in-arm with someone who is your equal."
