It turns out that Tristan Rogers' (Colin Atkinson) "last" show in September wasn't really his last last. The actor took to social media to announce that he'll be making two upcoming appearances on The Young and the Restless.
"Back in Dec on Y&R for 4 shows," Rogers wrote on Twitter, seemingly adding that he's a fan of the show's new writing. "Loving it."
Back in Dec on Y&R for 4 shows. Loving it. Jan for longer.

While her material won't air for another three weeks, it looks like The Young and the Restless' new head writer, Sally Sussman, is making good on her promise to focus story on characters that fans care about. The show has already confirmed the return of Beth Maitland's Traci and Judith Chapman's Gloria.
In a recent interview with TV Insider, Sussman previewed that Jill is "going to experience a serious personal crisis that will cause her to reevaluate her entire life."
While Rogers gave no indication what stories he'd be involved in during his return, previous visits have always had Colin mixing things up with Jill.
Rogers' December return is just the beginning. He'll be back in "Jan[uary] for longer."
Speaking of December, next month will mark six years since Rogers made his first appearance on Y&R. To relive that first appearance, check out our recap from December 8, 2010.
