Fans of The Young and the Restless' Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) will be able to see what the actress has been up to since leaving daytime in 2007 via an upcoming episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now?.
The Maine native will be appearing in a season 8 episode on Saturday, October 22, to discuss her admiration for Misty Copeland, the first African-American woman to become a principal dancer in the American Ballet Theatre, and more.
Rowell originated the role of Y&R's Drucilla Winters in 1990. She left the series in 2007 and later filed a lawsuit against the soap, CBS, and Sony Pictures Television in 2015, claiming the companies refused to rehire her after she advocated for greater diversity both on-screen and off screen at the daytime drama. The case has not yet been fully settled.
