Good news for fans of Kelly Sullivan (ex-Sage Warner, The Young and the Restless; ex-Connie Faconeri, General Hospital): TLC has decided to renew her successful new series, Too Close To Home.
The network's first scripted program managed to pull in an impressive 4.2 million viewers during its season one premiere on August 22, propelling TLC to its highest rated Monday in over a year. The series also placed #3 in primetime drama series being talked about on Twitter (in part due to you, loyal soap fans!).
"Our audience was ready for a move into the scripted space, and Too Close To Home has whet their appetite to see more. More twists, more heartbreak and certainly more of Tyler Perry's notoriously dramatic writing," says Nancy Daniels, President and General Manager, TLC.
