The Young and the Restless' Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) is on an acting upswing these days. Hot on the heels of Esther getting a brand new life in Genoa City (which the actress details in an exclusive Soap Central interview here) comes news that Linder just filmed a role in the new Julia Robert's film Mother's Day.

The actress took to Twitter to share that she "so enjoyed working" with Scott Marshall, Garry Marshall, and Julia Roberts in the film, which also stars Kate Hudson and Jennifer Aniston (daughter to Days of our Lives' John Aniston [Victor Kiriakis]).

The film, which tells intertwining stories about the lives of several mothers, is set to hit theaters on April 29, 2016.
