Both The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless have a lot of balls in the air storyline-wise at the moment, but all eyes may be on the shows' social media channels on Friday, March 13, as the series will be focusing on a different kind of balls altogether: basketballs!

CBS Daytime announced via Twitter that it'll be B&B versus Y&R in a pop-shot basketball tournament called #CBSSoapMayhem. The first round of competitors are as follows: Y&R's Sean Carrigan (Ben Rayburn) versus Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman), Y&R's Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) versus Lachlan Buchanan (Kyle Abbott), Y&R's Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) versus Hunter King (Summer Newman), Y&R's Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman) versus Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson), B&B's Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) versus Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller), B&B's Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) versus Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton), B&B's Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) versus Heather Tom (Katie Logan), and B&B's Karla Mosley (Maya Avant) versus Reign Edwards (Nicole Avant).

Each finalist from the first round will advance to an additional round, and then the winners from that round will compete -- soap to soap -- for the final win.
