We already know that soap opera actors are a talented lot. In just the past few days, a few soap alums have followed in the footsteps of Rick Springfield, Jack Wagner, and Michael Damian and released some brand-new music.
When she's not roughing up some of Salem's newest offenders, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins is making new music. She is, of course, best known as the T in the R&B group TLC, but T-Boz has also released solo projects. Her latest release, "Dreams," is an up-tempo and inspirational jam -- one that might just make you bust a move.

You can also check out the self-titled and final TLC album on Amazon and iTunes.
If you are in the Los Angeles area, T-Boz will be performing a concert billed as "T-Boz Unplugged," a benefit for sickle cell disease. There will be special guests, and the event will support The MLK Sickle Cell Outreach Center of Los Angeles and The Sickle Cell Support Group of Atlanta. You can get more information and buy tickets here.
Stephen Martines (ex-Tony Santos, Guiding Light; ex-Nikolas Cassadine, General Hospital) has released a new country-tinged single called "Just Like A Kiss." It comes a couple of months after the release of the poppy "Beach Ball." Both are available on most streaming music services, including Amazon, iTunes, and Spotify.
The Young and the Restless alum Diana DeGarmo is also back with new music. The former American Idol contestant released a four-track EP called "Gemini, Volume 1." The songs span numerous genres from contemporary pop to bluegrass to throwback classics. It, too, is available on Amazon, iTunes, and Spotify.
Here ya go, world! I hope you love it as much as I do! I give you - #GEMINI: Volume 1
