Congratulations are in order for the digital drama series Tainted Dreams, which is heading for Amazon Prime right after Christmas.
The Emmy-nominated soap opera created by former One Life to Live writer Sonia Blangiardo and launched in 2013 tells the story of what goes on behind the scenes of a fictional soap opera called Painted Dreams.
Tainted Dreams stars several daytime actors including Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart, All My Children), Terri Ivens (Simone Torres, AMC), Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery, AMC), Michael Lowry (Jake Martin, AMC), Larkin Malloy (Travis Montgomery, AMC, and Sky Whitney, Edge of Night), Grant Aleksander (Phillip Spaulding, Guiding Light), Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily Stewart, As the World Turns), Marnie Schulenburg (Alison Stewart, ATWT), Colleen Zenk (Barbara Ryan, ATWT), Terri Conn (Katie, ATWT), Natalia Livingston (Emily Quartermaine and Rebecca Shaw, General Hospital, and Taylor Walker, Days of our Lives), and Austin Peck (Rick Powers, OLTL; Brad Snyder, ATWT; and Austin Reed, DAYS).
"It's been a long time coming and we are grateful that the fans will finally get to see the stories we have in store," Blangiodo told Soap Opera Digest.
Tainted Dreams will be available and free to both Amazon Prime members (without ads) and to non-members (with ads) beginning Monday, December 26. The series' official website will post links directing viewers to the show's Amazon Prime location.
