Have you marked your calendars for Sunday, April 26, yet? Not only does the date boast the live broadcast of this year's Daytime Emmy Awards on Pop, the same network will be debuting the new reality series Queens of Drama right afterward. And guess what? Pop just released a teaser trailer that formally introduces each star.
As fans can see in the video above, Queens of Drama stars Lindsay Hartley (ex-Cara Finn Castillo, All My Children; ex-Arianna Hernandez, Days of our Lives; ex-Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, Passions), Crystal Hunt (ex-Stacy Morasco, One Life to Live; ex-Lizzie Spaulding, Guiding Light), Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda Barrettt, General Hospital), Chrystee Pharris (ex-Simone Russell, Passions), Hunter Tylo (ex-Taylor Hayes, The Bold and the Beautiful), and Donna Mills (Madeline Reeves, GH; ex-Abby Ewing, Knots Landing), who take control of their careers by producing and starring in a new serialized drama of their own creation.
The ten episodes -- which begin immediately following the 42nd Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday, April 26, and then move to their regular Wednesday night slot beginning Wednesday, April 29, at 8PM ET/PT -- closely follow the actresses as they develop, pitch, and produce their idea with the goal of landing a pilot by the season's finale.
