It's been over 15 years since they worked together on a soap opera, but One Life to Live alums Melissa Archer (ex-Natalie Buchanan) and Jessica Morris (ex-Jennifer Rappaport) recently teamed up to co-write Betrayed by My Bridesmaid, a new thriller film that debuted on Lifetime Movie Club on October 7.
The film stars Ashley Dakin as Katie and Steven He as Tom, an excited couple who plan their dream wedding. According to a synopsis of the film, Katie's troubled sister Connie (Meghan Perry) is released from rehab just in time for the wedding. Things start to unravel as Connie seemingly poses a threat to the happy couple's wedding -- or does she?
If that sounds like a classic soap opera storyline, consider that Archer and Morris had more than a brief stint on daytime television. Archer spent 13 years on One Life to Live -- the final 10-plus years of OLTL's run on ABC and later its brief streaming run. She also had a separate stint as Days of our Lives' Serena Mason from 2014 to 2015.
Morris debuted on OLTL in early 2001 as Jennifer Rappaport, the youngest daughter of Lindsay (Catherine Hickland) and Sam (Kale Browne, Laurence Lau) Rappaport, and spent over four years with the former ABC soap.
Viewers can watch the movie, which was filmed exclusively in Hot Springs, Arkansas, with any cable or streaming service that offers Lifetime or its family of channels.
