Netflix hopes to bring joy to the world with its upcoming holiday film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, a magical musical that stars General Hospital alum Ricky Martin (ex-Miguel Morez) alongside other big stars like Forest Whitaker, Phylicia Rashad, and Hugh Bonneville.
From the imagination of writer-director David E. Talbert, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Whitaker), whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it's up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (Madalen Mills) and a long-forgotten invention to heal old wounds.
According to the Con Todo Twitter account (Netflix's social media community for all things Latinx), Martin will be adding a dash of miniature malevolence to the magical tale. Says the account, "The cast of Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is stacked with so many faves, and now there's another icon in the mix: our boricua king @ricky_martin, playing devious matador Don Juan Diego."
