Diggstown follows Antoine as title character Marcie Diggstown, a corporate lawyer who reconsiders her priorities after her beloved aunt takes her own life following a malicious prosecution. The team of lawyers that Marcie works with are a curious band of do-gooders, cynics, and scrappers -- messy souls struggling to keep personal disappointment and demons out of their practice. They work directly in the community to find justice for their diverse clients, exploring issues of racism, poverty, and gender bias.
BET+ released a teaser trailer for the series, which will begin streaming on the platform on Thursday, April 23.

In addition to seeing Antoine in the series, soap fans can look forward to seeing other daytime stars in guest-starring roles. As Soap Central previously reported, both Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Parker Forsyth, GH) and Cassandra James (ex-Terry Randolph, GH) have made appearances on Diggstown.
As GH fans may recall, Antoine left the ABC soap opera in 2018 to take on the role of Diggstown's Marcie. Both the actress and her fans held out hope that maybe, just maybe, Antoine could simultaneously film both Diggstown and the ABC soap opera, but GH felt it was best to recast the role of Jordan, with Briana Henry taking on the role. Prior to joining GH in 2014, Antoine's credits included Work in Progress, Heartland, Being Erica, and Soul Food.
Diggstown was previously made available to a global audience by the entertainment company eOne, which partnered with the series in 2018.
