General Hospital is pulling out all the stops this week, as an incredibly tense storyline that started way back in September of 2018 finally comes to an action-packed conclusion: Lucas (Ryan Carnes), Michael (Chad Duell), and everyone else in Port Charles will learn the truth about Wiley.
Fans of the ABC series have seen the consequences of one fateful evening play out over the last year and a half. It all started when the baby that Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas adopted died around the same time that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) gave birth to a healthy baby in the woods. Brad and Nelle ended up switching their babies in what they both viewed as a win-win situation, and both parties have kept the long-held secret that the baby that Brad and Lucas are raising is actually Nelle and Michael's biological son. To complicate matters, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) gave her baby up for adoption and thinks Wiley is her son, having no idea that her baby -- the one that Brad and Lucas originally adopted -- is dead.
GH viewers were on the edge of their seats when Brad finally revealed the truth to Lucas, but the pair was involved in a car accident immediately afterward that left Lucas with fragmented memories of the night and no recollection of the bombshell Brad had dropped. Relieved that his secret was still a secret and realizing that the closer they are to the citizens of Port Charles, the more likely the secret is to get out, Brad accepted a job in Portland and is planning to move with Lucas and Wiley, while Nelle sold her shares of ELQ to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) so that she can leave town, too -- though at this point, it's anybody guess as to whether she plans to follow Brad and Lucas or go her own way.
As GH teases in its extended preview trailer for the week ahead, Lucas will remember what Brad confessed before their crash, and it's only a matter of time before Michael learns the truth, as well. It's all going down starting today, Monday, February 17, and GH warns fans, "Don't miss a single second!"
