General Hospital fans are ecstatic about the upcoming blast from the past returns by popular actors Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) and Ingo Rademacher (Jasper "Jax" Jacks), and many are hoping one more fan favorite might be on her way back to the ABC soap opera.
Kristen Alderson, who played both Kiki Jerome and her former One Life to Live character, Starr Manning, on GH, took to Twitter on Valentine's Day with a mysterious message about a General Hospital-related project.
"Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! Guess what??" her tweet reads. "I'm doing something really fun today and it has to do with General Hospital. Any guesses!?"

Of course, fans immediately suggested that Alderson was rejoining the ABC soap, with most of them hoping that she'd be reprising her role as Starr and others hoping she'd somehow resurrect Kiki.
Sadly, though, those fans are in for a bit of a disappointment. The actress' project was a guest stint on Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson's (Damian Spinelli) That's Awesome podcast.

Alderson took on the role of OLTL's Starr Manning in 1998 and grew up on-screen as one of the show's legacy characters. Following OLTL's cancellation in 2011, the actress joined the cast of GH, but her days as Starr were numbered: after Cole and her daughter were killed in a car accident, the writers chose to have Starr leave town when ABC lost its rights to all OLTL characters in a battle with Prospect Park.
GH kept Alderson on in the newly created role of Kiki Jerome, but the actress chose to leave daytime in 2015, and GH brought Hayley Erin in to fill the role. Erin has since left to star in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, which leaves the door open for Alderson to make a return as Kiki, if she were to be resurrected from the dead. But then again, ABC has since regained its rights to One Life to Live characters, meaning she could reprise the role of Starr, as well.
