While couples across the nation wined and dined in celebration of Valentine's Day, former soap star Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily Quartermaine/Rebecca Shaw, General Hospital; ex-Tayler Walker, Days of our Lives) was feasting on happiness. The Pennsylvania native announced that she's pregnant and is expecting her bundle of joy this fall.
"Celebrating Valentine's Day basking in the excitement of our little miracle!" she posted on Instagram with a photo of herself and her husband, Dr. Matt Aldag. "Baby Girl due in September!!"
Livingston and Aldag married in September 2016, and this will be the happy couple's first baby.
Despite being newly pregnant, Livingston is keeping busy in the entertainment world. The actress is working on a documentary with Oscar Award-winning producer and director Lawrence Schiller (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Peter the Great).
"He travelled all the way from NYC to help us! What a master class in documentary filmmaking!" she shared of working with the legendary man. "We are inspired by you... and so grateful."
Livingston first appeared on GH as Alan and Monica's adopted daughter, Emily, in 2003 and played the role until 2007, earning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2005. She briefly returned to GH as a ghost in 2008 (Emily was murdered when Livingston chose to leave the role) and returned to the show once again in 2009 as a brand-new character named Rebecca Shaw, whom she played for less than a year. DAYS cast the actress as Nicole's sister, Taylor Walker, in 2011. Unfortunately, her stint only lasted three months, and Tamara Braun (Kim Nero/ex-Carly Corinthos, GH; ex-Reese Williams, All My Children) took over the role shortly after.
