General Hospital alum Amber Tamblyn (ex-Emily Quartermaine) and her husband, David Cross, are brand-new parents to their first child, a girl.
"David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr. #TheFutureIsFemale" the actress wrote on Instagram along with a video of the tiny infant's foot in a pink baby blanket.
In case you're asking yourself the same question we are... we're not entirely sure that is the baby's real name.
Tamblyn, who married Cross in 2012, first announced her pregnancy news in a feminist/political piece for Glamour in the fall of 2016. In the article, titled "The Frame That Holds the Big Picture: How Mothers and Daughters Can Change the Way We Talk About Being Women," the actress wrote, "I've been thinking about motherhood a lot lately. What it means to be one, what it means to have one, what it means to know one, what it means to make decisions as one and have conversations as one. I am very lucky to be surrounded by strong mothers, from my own mom to some of my best friends -- those who are raising young women to accept themselves and those who are raising young men to accept women. Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon. I'm pregnant, with a daughter on the way."
Tamblyn played GH's Emily from 1996 to 1998 and went on to star in shows like Joan of Arcadia, The Unusuals, House, Two and a Half Men, and Inside Amy Schumer.
