It's raining women over at General Hospital. Hot on the heels of the news that Finola Hughes will be returning to the set as Anna Devane comes word that Lisa LoCicero will soon be back as Olivia Falconeri.
LocCiero left on maternity leave earlier this spring for the May birth of her daughter, Verity. After commenting to Soap Opera Digest that her time off "flew by," she explained that she has no idea what the show's new writers have in store for Olivia -- she but knows they have their hands full. "The writers really got hit with a double whammy in terms of this storyline," she teases. "You've got a burgeoning romance, one of them gets knocked up and the other one [Wally Kurth, ex-Ned Ashton; Justin Kiriakis, Days of our Lives] leaves unexpectedly! It's kind of like, ‘Uh, good luck coming up with something smooth for this!'"
LoCicero joined GH in the role of Olivia in 2008. She also played the role of One Life to Live's Sonia Toledo Santi in 2004, as well as The City's Jocelyn Brown in 1995.
