L SMITH

L. Smith is a volunteer at Soap Opera Central who started watching CBS soaps as a toddler with her grandmother. Disenchanted with the controversial storylines at The Young And The Restless and The Bold And The Beautiful, As The World Turns remains her favorite CBS Soap, while the recent changes at Guiding Light continue to keep her interest there.

OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES


I have to say As The World Turns, though I am not quite as sure as I was last year. I did enjoy it much more than The Young And The Restless or The Bold And The Beautiful. I have heard good things about Port Charles, but I don't watch it.

OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTOR


It's so hard to choose between Ricky Paull Goldin and Doug Davidson in this category. Davidson is so good with the emotional stuff and Goldin is just all around good. I guess I will go with Ricky Paull Goldin.

OUTSTANDING LEAD ACTRESS


Without a doubt, Michelle Stafford.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTOR


Christian LeBlanc. I think he's outstanding.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORTING ACTRESS
Cady McClain. Although it took a while for me to adjust to the fact that she was the new Rosanna, her immense talent has definitely drawn me in.

OUTSTANDING YOUNGER ACTOR
Jordi Vilasuso. He's so cute!

OUTSTANDING YOUNGER ACTRESS
Adrienne Frantz. I think she's very good as Amber.

OUTSTANDING WRITING IN A DRAMA SERIES
As The World Turns, because I think it's the best in the CBS line-up.
