When Arianne Zucker announced that she was suing ousted Days of our Lives producer Albert Alaar, as well as Corday Productions, for sexual harassment, she also revealed that she had taped her last DAYS scenes, as her contract had not been renewed. In a new video on her YouTube channel, the actress has now revealed when she believes she will last air.
In the video, Zucker gave an update on her life, as well as her new career as a life coach. She started the video by talking about a DAYS fan event she'd just attended, and she thanked fans for being there for her.
"I was really appreciative of the amount of support I have had since the...since leaving Days of our Lives. I'll just be kind about it right now," she said. "Just so you all know, my last airdate is...I think it's July 29, and we'll see how things go after that."
According to Zucker's lawsuit, she brought her concerns to DAYS Executive Producer Ken Corday in March of 2023. When a July 2023 Deadline report detailed sexual harassment incidents involving multiple unnamed female performers, Alaar was soon fired. At the time, Zucker was one of the few current stars to be vocal about the report on social media and once again thanked loyal fans for their outpouring of love.
"Hello, wonderful DAYS fans and supporters!" she wrote. "In light of the recent information, trust in knowing that your love and messages mean everything."
In the current story, Nicole still has no idea that her baby boy is alive and well, living with Eric and Sloan. She also has no idea that Eric is her baby's actual father -- not her husband, E.J. DiMera. Whether Nicole will be reunited with her baby before Zucker's last airdate remains to be seen, but it stands to reason that May Sweeps could bring the end of this baby switch plot.
