The daytime community is sending lots of love and congratulations to former Days of our Lives stars Casey Moss (ex-J.J. Deveraux) and True O'Brien (ex-Paige Larson), who have become real-life fiancées.
The couple took to Instagram to share their exciting engagement news, both posting a video of the moment Moss popped the question during a hike near the ocean. Instead of a caption, the actors shared a quote said by Robin Williams' character, Sean Maguire, in the1997 film Good Will Hunting.
"People call these things imperfections, but they're not. Oh, that's the good stuff. And then we get to choose who we let into our weird little worlds," the quote reads. "You're not the perfect sport, and let me save you the suspense; this girl you met, she's not perfect, either. But the question is whether or not you're perfect for each other."
Obviously, Moss and O'Brien are perfect for each other, as evidenced by their romance and the outpouring of love they received after announcing their engagement.
"So happy for these two," shared O'Brien's former on-screen mother, Kassie DePaiva (ex-Eve Donovan). "Love you both and wish you the best."
"Atta boy! Congrats brother!" wrote Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston).
"So so excited for you!!!!!! I love you both so much," enthused Melissa Reeves (ex-Jennifer Horton).
"Ahhhh!! Congrats!! Can't stop smiling!" wrote Marci Miller (ex-Abigail Deveraux).
After sharing the engagement video, O'Brien posted some photos of herself with Moss at the beach, using the famous "If you're a bird, I'm a bird," quote from The Notebook as a caption.
Moss starred as DAYS' J.J. Deveraux from 2013 to 2020, while O'Brien starred as Paige from 2014 to 2015, with later appearances in 2017 and 2020. The pair has been dating since 2015.
