Days of our Lives fans have watched Bryan Dattilo deal with the unthinkable as his Salem alter ego, Lucas Horton. But none of it compares to the shocking experiences that the actor says he's had in real life. Some of those include psychic dreams and alien encounters, which he plans to explore in a new podcast called Conspiracies Inc.
"Why would a guy like me do a podcast like this? It's a great question, and I'll tell you: ever since I was little, a little teeny, little bitty Bryan, I've had personal paranormal experiences that would send the average person into a fetal position, and they'd be screaming for their mom -- which is exactly what I did!" he says in a teaser clip. "Fortunately, or unfortunately for me, my mother was the first female editor for the National Enquirer, so, there was really nothing I could tell her that she hadn't already heard."
The actor says that the advice his mother gave him was to read about paranormal activity. "She would say, 'Bryan, you need to investigate what's happening to you, you have a gift, you do have dreams that come true, you do see ghosts, you are a sensitive person, and you need to read up on it to understand how other people deal with it and to understand other situations.'"
Fast-forward to 1993, when the actor says he was literally abducted by aliens, just after he'd landed his DAYS role. "I had just moved out of my house, I was in Culver City, minding my own business, sleeping, and I see these gray aliens come through my window," he explains. "But I'm going to stop there because the rest is for the podcast!"
According to the official teaser for Conspiracies Inc, Dattilo has dedicated years of research to understanding his incredible experiences, and he now has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things paranormal and conspiratorial. The actor plans to use this knowledge for his weekly podcast series, which will dive into his lifetime of personal paranormal experiences and research, as well as give experts the opportunity to share their knowledge about these fascinating topics.
"On this podcast, you'll see and hear from a Who's Who in the paranormal pantheon, starting with a world-renowned UFO researcher/hypnotherapist unlocking any holes in his memory of being abducted," says the teaser. "It'll be followed by celebrity friends with their own inexplicable stories to share. He hopes to bring light to some of the craziest questions one can think of. Is there life after death? Do aliens exist? Are there other dimensions? Are ghosts real? What is the government hiding? Each season will dive into a new and fascinating topic. The first is all-things-alien. He wants answers -- and the audience does, too."
Conspiracies Inc is set to launch on Thursday, March 3, on Spotify, Apple, YouTube, and other platforms. Check out a teaser trailer here, and let us know what you think in our Comments section below.
