If you've ever wondered what it would feel like to have every human emotion come bursting from you all at once like a pop rocket of confetti splaying over a party, you've come to the right place: Days of our Lives' 2021 winter promo (below) will have you shocked, moved, titillated, terrified, excited, heart-warmed, and everything else in between -- all in the span of a minute and a half.
The teaser trailer, which was released during the NBC soap opera's annual Day of Days fan event, begins with a little jingle-jangle between Salem couples that will no doubt leave Santa wondering who's been acting naughty and who's been acting nice. There's gift-giving, there's warm family gatherings, there's holiday music galore... and then the real excitement sets in!
Early on in the promo, Belle (Martha Madison) walks in to find her husband Shawn (Brandon Beemer) in bed with... Belle?! Meanwhile, Alison Sweeney's Sami makes her way back to Salem just in time to find her husband E.J. (Dan Feuerriegel) in bed with her longtime rival Nicole (Arianne Zucker)!
The trailer also includes a glimpse of Melissa Reeves, who is finally back in the role of Jennifer Horton after a nearly-two-year absence, and the return of Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), who not only comes face to face with MarDevil (Deidre Hall), but who also finds himself in a sizzling situation that could turn into a shocking sequel of his sinful time with Kristen (played by Eileen Davidson)!
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) vows to fight the devil with "everything in my soul," Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) prepare to reveal a secret, Duke the Bear has a head-blowing encounter, Paulina's (Jackée Harry) attempt to reconnect with Lani (Sal Stowers) goes horribly awry, Xander (Paul Telfer) finally realizes that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) isn't where he thought she was, and a gruesome crime rocks all of the citizens of Salem.
