Congratulations are in order for Days of our Lives stars Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) and Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel Jonas), who got engaged during a Father's Day boating trip.
Zucker shared the exciting news on social media, writing, "So, words can't describe how happy I was this day! @shawnchristian completely surprised me on Father's Day! I had no idea! This man has an unbelievably beautiful heart and he always seems to know how to make me feel so wonderful! I am blessed to join him on this next adventure. Thank you @taylorquinncole & @ghstwrtr for helping to make this day full of love and happiness!"

Zucker and Christian have been dating for several years, and one of the secrets to their love is knowing how to keep their relationship fresh and exciting -- like when Zucker surprised Christian with dance lessons back in 2018. At the time, she shared, "It's good for the relationship, doing something new and doing it together. I think it's always important to always lift up your relationship in some way, and that was one way we're doing it. And we're having a blast."
Zucker originated the role of DAYS' Nicole in 1998. Some of her other credits include A Mermaid for Christmas, Ladies of the Lake, Ex-Wife Killer, and Web Cam Girls.
Christian took on the role of Dr. Daniel Jonas in 2008 and left Salem in 2017. His other credits include Last Seen in Idaho, Unwritten Obsession, and Famous in Love.
