Hold onto your hats, Days of our Lives fans, because hurricane Sami is on her way back to Salem! Actress Alison Sweeney will be stepping back into the shoes of her iconic alter ego on Thursday, February 25 -- and her return is going to be filled with drama, drama, drama.
In a recent February Sweeps interview with She Knows, DAYS head writer Ron Carlivati gave a tease as to what viewers can expect when Sweeney hits the canvas.
"Whenever you have Allison Sweeney returning, you want to make the most of it, no matter how long she's going to be around," he shared of Sami's portrayer. "You want her to come in with a bang, and maybe that's foreshadowing a little bit."
The last time fans saw Sami was in December, when the character had a video chat with Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Allie (Lindsay Arnold), and Roman (Josh Taylor) -- the latter of whom accidentally let it slip that Allie had been raped when she was in London. Though Sami was upset that she'd been kept in the dark about such an awful turn of events in Allie's life, she eventually made amends with her daughter and swore there was nothing she wouldn't do to protect her.
Fans may have guessed that the comment foreshadowed Sami's involvement with Charlie's (Mike Manning) story in some way, and Carlivati confirmed it with the tease, "She is definitely going to play into this in a big way."
In other words, Charlie should be afraid -- very afraid. Because as all DAYS viewers know, hell hath no fury like a Sami scorned!
