Days of our Lives fans might feel like they have rubber necks, having had to keep up with quite a slew of exits and returns over the course of the last year. But one of the cool things about all of the recent cast changes is that it mixes up the characters on the canvas, which could lead to all kinds of potential pairings -- like perhaps a reunion between Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), who were married years and years ago when the role of Brady was being played by Kyle Lowder (ex-Rex Brady).
Martsolf was asked in a recent interview whether or not he could see his alter ego and Chloe getting back together, even though it's been twelve years since they were husband and wife.
"Brady and Chloe...of course there's potential in that pairing," he tells Daytime Confidential. "They were lovebirds so long ago, and to ignite that flame again would reignite a fan base which has been relatively dormant for a while. Nadia and I are two peas in a pod; we could make it special."
Of course, there's always the potential that Brady could also find a spark with Kate (Lauren Koslow), a pairing that many fans have wanted to see explored because it could have some pretty fun storyline potential.
"A Brady/Kate pairing would send Vic [John Aniston] through the roof for sure!" Martsolf enthuses of the possible coupling.
As it stands, anything can happen when it comes to Brady's love life -- including shenanigans with Nicole (Arianne Zucker). However, regardless of which woman ends up at his side, Martsolf says that his alter ego needs to focus on getting his life in order -- which could lead to him landing right in the middle of the Titan CEO struggle with Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson).
"Brady is going to need solid direction, given events coming down the line," Martsolf previews. "I think he should throw his hat into the ring for CEO. I never recalled him doing a bad job in that department, other than the recent revenge tactic on Victor, of course. He is worthy."
