He's a master at making and breaking weddings in the soap opera land, but it turns out Days of our Lives head writer Ron Carlivati is pretty damn good at pulling off weddings in the real world, too. He and his partner of 16 years, interior designer David Rogal, tied the knot over the weekend surrounded by close friends and family members.
Carlivati took to social media to share his exciting marriage news, joking "for once, nobody stopped the wedding."

The intimate but socially distanced ceremony took place in the East Hamptons, and Carlivati reveals that the entire thing was planned in just one week! Such a short time frame might have been faint-inducing for most couples, but again, Carlivati is a master at weddings, having written dozens in his decades-long career with series like DAYS, General Hospital, and One Life to Live.
