Get ready to do a happy dance, Days of our Lives fans! Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera, Andre DiMera) and Leann Hunley (Anna Fredericks) are once again returning to Salem.
Penghlis took to social media to thank fans for their support and revealed in the post that he and his on-screen partner will be gracing the screen in the very near future.

Tony and Anna were last seen on the NBC soap in January and February, when the Stefano/Steve (Stephen Nichols) mystery played out in Prague. Unfortunately, it's unclear if the pair's return this time around will be on a more permanent basis or if it will be just as short as their visit earlier this year.
Penghlis and Hunley have a long history with DAYS, the former having taken on the role of Stefano's son Tony in 1981 and the latter having joined the soap in 1982. Penghlis played Tony until his "death" in 2009 and returned as the character in 2019. He also played Stefano's nephew Andre from 1983 until 2018, when the character was killed. Hunley has appeared on-again, off-again over the course of the last four decades.
