Hot on the heels of the news that Days of our Lives has launched a podcast comes the announcement that the NBC soap opera is launching a free, interactive mobile app.
Described as the ultimate fan portal, the DOOL app will give viewers more of the show they love with everything from fan-favorite moments, to behind the scenes videos and photos, to various trivia and games to test their DAYS knowledge. The app will also feature an exclusive video vault with access to some of show's most memorable and notable clips.
"We are excited that after more than two years in development, we are now able to offer a free, interactive destination that will provide more fun and fresh content for the fans of Days of our Lives," says Greg Meng, DAYS' co-executive producer.
Set to launch on Thursday, November 8 -- which is the show's 53rd anniversary -- the DOOL app will have the following categories:
NEWS: breaking news from the set, first casting news, weekly previews, sneak peeks, and tune-in alerts for can't-miss episodes.
VIDEO VAULT: get exclusive access to your favorite classic clips from DAYS history.
PHOTOS: candid cast photos, first-look images, and behind-the-scenes looks at what's taping now.

BACKSTAGE: exclusive behind-the-scenes videos with the cast.
