Get ready to say bon voyage -- whether you want to or not -- to Days of our Lives' Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) and Martha Madison (Belle Black). The two actors will finish taping at the 50-year-old soap opera this week.
The NBC series just returned to production after a five-week hiatus, and Beemer took to social media to fill fans in on his and Madison's status. "2 days of filming this week and then we go on our way," he shared.
Shawn and Belle Brady were brought back to the canvas for the NBC soap's 50th anniversary. Beemer stepped back into the role of Shawn (which he previously played from 2006 to 2008) after former portrayer Jason Cook, who originally reprised the character for the golden event, opted not to stay on long term. Fans were shocked when Madison confirmed last month that she had been let go, along with Beemer, Marie Wilson (Summer), and Sal Stowers (Lani Price).
