Days of our Lives already has quite an impressive Valentine's Day special planned, with a cinematic experience set to make Salem reminiscent of the silver screen. But just like strawberries tend to bump up Champagne, something is going to make Friday's special episode a whole lot better: an appearance by Shawn Christian's Dr. Daniel Jonas.
The character recently died on-screen after Christian reportedly chose to walk away from the role he originated in 2008, but that hasn't stopped the powers that be from finding a way to work the handsome doctor into storyline. Rumor has it he'll be a part of Nicole's (Arianne Zucker) romantic film fantasy.
As previously reported, the NBC soap is spreading the love this Friday, February 12, with a Valentine-themed episode in which Theresa (Jen Lilley), Abigail (Kate Mansi), Rafe (Galen Gering), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Ava (Tamara Braun), and Nicole have cinematic dreams about their various romantic situations. Each of their film fantasies will have a different genre of movie serving as its backdrop.
As the Hollywood-appropriate scenes play out for various Salemites, Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will experience a moment worthy of the silver screen, as well.
Tune in to NBC's DAYS this Friday, February 12, to catch Christian's return and the soap's special Valentine's Day drama.
