Days of our Lives' Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) is going to be one busy man in the coming months. In addition to booking a new film role, he's officially extended his contract with the NBC soap.

The actor took to Twitter to announce the news, stating, "Great day today! Official contract extension @DaysofourLives & new movie @hallmarkchannel Truly Blessed!"

Vaughan was previously known to daytime audiences as General Hospital's Lucky Spencer and The Young and the Restless' Diego Guitierez. He joined DAYS in 2012. He's also known to Hallmark audiences, having starring in the network's Second Chances alongside DAYS' Alison Sweeney (Samantha Brady) in 2013.
