"Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!" just might be something that soon comes out of the mouth of The Bay and former Days of our Lives star Jade Harlow (ex-Sheryl Connors; ex-Jessica Bennett, Passions), as the actress has just announced she's been cast in the new CBS summer series, Zoo.
"Ok so, no more mystery... I'm elated to announce that I'm working on CBS's new summer event series, Zoo!" she wrote on Facebook. "Huge thank you to Donna Rosenstein for the opportunity to read for 'Anissa Woods' & huge thank you to production/cast/crew for making this such an incredible experience... Bring on the animal apocalypse!!!! Oorah!!!!"
The series, slated for a Tuesday, June 30, premiere, is a global thriller about a wave of violent animals that suddenly attack humankind. It's based of a novel of the same name, written by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.
Other stars cast in the series include James Wolk, Nora Arnezeder, Nonso Anozie, Kristen Connolly (ex-Jolene, Guiding Light), and Billy Burke. Filming began in New Orleans in January of this year.
