It looks like The Bold and the Beautiful's Luna Nozawa will see at least one dream come true this week when her mother can't keep a lifelong secret any longer. Poppy drops a big bomb on Bill that will rock some worlds.
Bill and Poppy have been falling in love (mostly off-screen) over the last few months and Bill wants to make things official between them. However, Poppy had a big confession to make after Bill prodded some more into where Luna came from. According to Soap Central's B&B spoilers, Poppy has a story to tell on Wednesday while Luna gets the answers she's been searching for soon after.
When Bill asked if he was Luna's father earlier this year, Poppy firmly told him that he wasn't. Bill took her answer at face value, which led to speculation about who Luna's dad might be. Soon, two Finnegan men became contenders.
Fans immediately concocted theories when Poppy and Finn waxed poetic about the time she lived with him and his parents when he was in college. When Finn was home on break, he'd spent a lot of alone time with his aunt. Some fans had a nagging suspicion that Finn could be Luna's father. After all, Li adopted Finn so he was not blood-related to Poppy. Therefore, an affair was not out of the realm of possibility. Even weeks later, Poppy stopped by the cliff house to discuss Luna wanting to know who her father was before hinting to Finn he was somehow involved with the answer.
Other fans, though, wondered if Finn's dad, Jack, was Luna's dad. That might explained at least some of Li's animosity toward her sister and why Li wants Poppy out of their lives and out of Los Angeles.
Oddly enough, the topic was dropped after that scene and nobody mentioned it again -- until this week. Did B&B originally intend to make one of the Finnegan men Luna's real dad and reverse course? With Poppy now telling Bill he could be Luna's father after ruling him out months ago, that could be what happened.
When Poppy explains things to Bill on Wednesday, he learns he may have another grown child he never knew about so Luna can join Wyatt and Liam. Will that be a lie? With Poppy being so guarded and secretive at all times, it's anyone's guess whether any story she tells is the truth. At least we have DNA tests to get to the bottom of things, but on soaps, we know they can't always be reliable. Will Poppy's reveal have all the answers or are there more twists to come?
