Katrina Bowden must be getting really good at playing roles in frightening movies, because she just announced that she's going to be in yet another horror film. Hot on the heels of the news that she recently filmed a shark attack movie called Great White comes word that she is also starring in the upcoming horror flick Hunter's Moon.
The film stars Thomas Jane as a sheriff who makes a strange discovery when he's called to an orchard where three teenage sisters have been attacked by a band of young delinquents. Hunter's Moon also features The Young and the Restless alum Sean Patrick Flanery (ex-Sam Gibson).
"I've read a lot of horror scripts in my day... and most aren't very good. But this one really stood out," Bowden shares on social media. "It's different in a very cool way."
Hunter's Moon -- which also stars Jay Mohr, Amanda Wyss, and India Ennenga -- is scheduled to be released on March 24. Check out a teaser trailer for the film below and let us know what you think in the Comments section at the end of the article.
Katrina Bowden joined B&B in 2019. Some of her other credits include 30 Rock, Public Morals, and One Life to Live (ex-Britney).
Sean Patrick Flanery played Y&R's Sam in 2011. As fans of the soap may recall, Sam dated Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) while he was on the canvas. Some of Flanery's other credits include The Bay, Dexter, and The Boondock Saints.
Funny enough, Bowden and Flanery also appear together in Mickey Kelly, an upcoming MMA film that tells the story of the title character, who was one of the first American black belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. According to an official film description, Mickey gets pulled away from everything he loves and into an unsanctioned MMA tournament. The athlete's dreams of providing for his family come to a halt with a split-second decision, and his life goes off the rails until years later, when he gets a shot at redemption. Dennis Quaid is also set to star in the drama alongside real-life MMA fighters Renzo Gracie, Edson Barboza, and Mickey Gall.
