Rumors are swirling that Adain Bradley's time as The Bold and the Beautiful's Xander Avant may be coming to an end, and it turns out the disappointing buzz was accidentally started by the actor himself.
Bradley took to social media earlier this week with a post that read: "Woke up at 11 o'clock, I ain't got no job, what the hell should I do today???"
The post immediately had B&B fans wondering if Xander will be killed off later this fall. After all, the character is hellbent on revealing details about the current baby switch and may be on Thomas' (Matthew Atkinson) "shush" radar. In fact, viewers were shocked when Thomas killed Emma (Nia Sioux) earlier this summer, having thought Xander would be the character that head writer Bradley Bell teased would meet a demise during the warmer months.
Fortunately, Bradley got wind of his exit rumors and took to social media with a clarification on his "ain't got no job" post.
"Just to clarify my last post, I haven't been fired, I still am very happy to be working @boldandbeautifulcbs just not working today!" he wrote. "Whilst I have you guys, I just want to thank you all for the support during this storyline. A lot went into the past couple of months of content, and I'm glad it's resonating with you guys. Long story short, Xander will return."
Bradley joined B&B in 2018. The Kansas-born, British-raised actor took a break from the CBS soap opera to shoot a film shortly before the end of last year, sharing: "This has been a crazy year for me. Been on for about eight months, and I just wanted to tell everybody thank you and there's more coming next year. But I'm going to go and shoot this movie real quick."
He wasn't kidding when he said "there's more coming," because his part in B&B's baby swap storyline has been pretty intense. However, there's a still a chance Xander won't be safe in the future. With Emma dead and his ex-girlfriend Zoe (Kiara Barnes) out of his life, Xander has his job at Forrester and his only family is the Avant family, who haven't been seen much lately... so it looks like fans will have to keep tuning in to find out what the powers that be have in store for the relative newcomer!
