If you weren't tuned in to the latest episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, then you missed a fabulous surprise: Hunter Tylo is back on the canvas as Taylor Hayes!
Viewers were given the unexpected delight at the end of the April 12 episode, when Thomas and Steffy's mom made a grand return.
The show's executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell managed to keep the Taylor reveal a surprise, much like Sheila's surprise return last summer.
"It was just so out of the blue," Tylo tells Soap Opera Digest "They had me hidden away ... I had a code name ... They kept it quiet from everybody."
B&B's official Twitter handle also shared the surprise news, writing: "RT to join us in welcoming @TheHunterTylo back to #BoldandBeautiful @CBSDaytime @BandB_CBS! Like to show her the love!"

Tylo originated the role of Taylor in 1990 and has played the character on-again, off-again since that time. There's no news yet on how long the powers that be plan on keeping Taylor on the canvas this time around, but her loyal fans have their fingers crossed it'll be the gift that keeps on giving.
